Welcome to Medicab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our non-emergency medical transportation services (the “Service”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By booking a ride with Medicab, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2.Eligibility

To use our services, you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age, or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
  • Able to provide accurate personal and medical information that is necessary for transportation services.

3.Services Provided

Medicab provides transportation services for individuals who need non-emergency medical transport to and from medical appointments or other locations as requested. Our services may include:

  • Pickup and drop-off services for medical appointments.
  • Transportation for individuals with mobility needs (e.g., wheelchair accessibility).
  • Transportation for individuals with special medical equipment needs, subject to availability and pre-approval.

4.Booking and Scheduling

  • Reservation: You must provide accurate details when booking a ride, including your name, contact information, pick-up address, drop-off address, medical requirements, and any special needs.
  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hrs in advance to avoid cancellation fees. If a ride is canceled within 15mins of the scheduled pick-up time, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show: If you are not present at the scheduled pick-up location within 15mins, the ride may be canceled, and you may incur a no-show fee.

5.Payment

  • Pricing: Our pricing is based on factors such as distance, time, medical equipment needs, and other service requirements. You will be provided with an estimate of the cost prior to your ride.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via [list accepted payment methods, e.g., credit card/debt card, insurance, Paypal etc.
  • Billing: Payment is due at the time of service or according to the billing terms agreed upon during the booking process.
  • Insurance: If applicable, you are responsible for ensuring that your insurance covers the transportation costs. We may require insurance verification before providing service.

6.Client Responsibilities

As a client of Medicab you agree to the following:

  • Provide Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information about your medical conditions, needs, and any other relevant details to ensure the safety and efficiency of the service.
  • Be Ready on Time: You should be present at the designated pick-up location at the scheduled time to avoid delays.
  • Comply with Safety Regulations: You must follow all safety guidelines during the ride, including the use of seat belts or other necessary safety equipment.
  • Behavior: You agree to behave respectfully toward our drivers and other staff members. Any disruptive or abusive behavior may result in the termination of the service.

7.Driver and Vehicle Responsibilities

  • Qualified Drivers: Our drivers are trained and certified to provide safe, non-emergency medical transportation. They will ensure your comfort and safety during the ride.
  • Vehicle Standards: Our vehicles are maintained to meet safety and accessibility standards. Special equipment such as wheelchairs or oxygen tanks must be pre-approved and noted in the booking.

8.Limitations of Liability

  • Service Availability: While we strive to provide reliable and timely transportation, we are not liable for any delays or service interruptions caused by weather, traffic, mechanical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Medical Emergencies: Medicab does not provide emergency medical services. If you experience a medical emergency during the ride, our drivers are instructed to contact emergency medical services (EMS) immediately.
  • Liability: To the fullest extent allowed by law, Medicab will not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of belongings during transport, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by our staff.

9.Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Data Collection: We collect and process personal and medical information necessary to provide our services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal information.
  • Confidentiality: We will maintain the confidentiality of your medical information in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA.

10.Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Bring any hazardous materials or items that could pose a risk to the vehicle, driver, or other passengers.
  • Engage in behavior that would endanger the safety of the driver or other passengers, including using mobile phones in a manner that distracts from the driving.

11.Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated terms will become effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

12.Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your use of our services at our discretion if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in conduct that we deem inappropriate.

13.Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of GA,USA. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in GA.
